La Dulce Toro

The first time I visited they ran out of vanilla ice cream for my affogoto and substituted strawberry vanilla ice cream, which was a bit odd. However, I have been back three times since and am happy to report that the affogoto with vanilla ice cream is to die for. This is a very nice little place with high quality Kenyan coffee and smiling, friendly service. Highly recommend. It’s not easy to find, but just follow signs on the main road that’s parallel to the seafront road.

United Youths Organization (UYO) is a woman-led humanitarian and talent promotion organization which works with women, girls and boys with or without disability to promote women/youth development in all spheres of life with focus on livelihoods, education, health care, peace building, disability inclusion, environmental protection and climate change. UYO was founded in 2010 and authorized by the government of Cameroon in 2013.

Heran’s Yoga

Heran was born in Ethiopia in the year famous for its famine, 1984. At the age of 3 she was adopted to the Netherlands, where she grew up in a small town. Spending lots of time outdoors, in nature and riding horses. In her early teens, she knew she wanted to broaden her perspective and travel. She graduated as an engineer of Tropical Forestry in 2009 and returned to live and work in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in 2010.
